Lightweeds (Noor) by Simon Heijdens

Lightweeds (Noor) illustrates the significance of the elements of chance and time, showing how natural phenomena and seasonal components are vanishing because of urbanism. The site-specific artwork aims to question the importance of natural flux in an urbanising world, and the loss of coincidence and local narrative in our increasingly structured, perpetual, and homogenous daily environments.
